The Mediterranean diet

Mediterranean diet pyramid blog - diet and well-being
In the country with the Mediterranean Sea, one of the healthiest diets in the world and one of the most exclusive raw materials, we have also chosen to support a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Sale of organic foods, greater commitment from companies, the continuous fight against waste and green packaging are among the fastest growing attitudes in our country. And for the next few years these results are expected to be even higher.
Less GMOs, less preservatives and colourants, less waste production and above all less abandonment of this in the sea and on land.

In the era of knowledge and awareness, the concept of "mens sana in corpore sano" is becoming increasingly alive. It is therefore together with everything we do for the environment that we must also commit ourselves to our body.

In fact, to be healthy, a healthy body needs the right nutritional intake. Every day, for every meal. It is essential to pay attention to basic daily habits and limit what are considered excesses of fats, sugars, preservatives and so on, including all those foods that distance themselves from fruit, vegetables and legumes. The latter, obviously, are not the only nutrients to be preferred since almost everything that Mother Nature offers us is to be considered good and right to consume.

An incorrect diet causes an increasing number of cardiovascular diseases, obesity, tumors and diabetes every year. It is therefore necessary to review your habits and eat well, for yourself and your health, even before being in good physical shape. Nutrition education is one of the first lessons to be addressed with the little ones. What they learn, the tastes they know will be the same ones they will get used to and keep for the rest of their lives.

To facilitate this operation, we have always talked about and taken into consideration the food pyramid. We have been talking about it for years and there are now many scientific studies out there.
A pyramid is commonly understood as a model that illustrates a healthy and balanced diet that starts from following a set of rules aimed at managing nutrition.

The foods at the top are those to be consumed most sparingly, as they are considered less suitable for maintaining good health. We, therefore, start from the bottom and focus on the first levels. We produce 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly products, increasingly believing in a green and lush future.
